The home was first registered by its present owner Mr Murray in 1995.

Moorside Hall is a private nursing home in Lancaster for elderly people with dementia and also those that present challenging behaviour. The home can also accommodate residents with palliative care needs or are simply too frail to live independently at home. Moorside Hall is unique in promoting life in an extended family style unit and an informal visit is encouraged to experience the warm and friendly atmosphere.
